South Korean sports metaverse company “TVM” announced that it will globally launch the official metaverse platform of the Spanish soccer league LaLiga in the first half of next year.

In this regard, a token to be used on the La Liga metaverse platform was also launched on the 12th.

La Liga, which is entering the metaverse business, selected South Korea’s TVM as a partner to build La Liga Metabus in May, and TVM is one of La Liga’s 10 global official partners and has acquired exclusive business rights for the La Liga Official Metabus Platform. Accordingly, metaverse of La Liga and its first and second division clubs is being built on a single platform called La Liga metaverse.


La Liga and TVM aim to create a more realistic interaction among 800 million La Liga fans using virtual reality technologies such as VR, AR, and XR, and to form the best digital soccer world for soccer fans based on rich interest factors such as soccer-related broadcasting, game, game outcome prediction, fan community, and SNS functions.

The La Liga Metabus token will be used everywhere in the La Liga Metabus ecosystem, including various paid content payments within the Metabus, fan voting, player and club sponsorship, streamer sponsorship, donations, and rival games among club fans.

“At La Liga Metabus, fans around the world will enjoy various videos such as La Liga games and highlights, promote friendship among fans, and further communicate with their favorite clubs and players,” said Oscar Mayo, senior director of La Liga Secretariat.
